Ballard Spahr Brings FOIA Suit on Behalf of NYU-Law Based Publication for January 6 Riot Records

The New York Law Journal published an item about a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit that Ballard Spahr, led by Senior Counsel David A. Schulz, filed in the Southern District of New York seeking records from the Department of Homeland Security related to the January 6 Capitol riots. The suit was brought on behalf of Ryan Goodman, co-editor-in-chief of Just Security, an online publication focused on national security law and policy, based at New York University School of Law.
