Municipal Groups Encouraged by President Biden's Speech

When The Bond Buyer wanted to gauge public finance industry opinion on President Biden's April 28 speech, Teri Guarnaccia was one of the sources to which it turned.

"We believe the municipal market can and should play a major role in reviving our economy post-pandemic," Ms. Guarnaccia said, speaking in her role as president of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. "We are also closely watching the bipartisan discussions surrounding the infrastructure debate and continue to believe that tax-advantaged bonds will be an integral part of any infrastructure package Congress ultimately passes."

Ms. Guarnaccia is a member of Ballard Spahr's national Finance Department.
