Ballard Spahr Lawyers Named “Leading Patent Professionals” in IAM Patent 1000

Six Ballard Spahr patent prosecutors and trial lawyers across three offices have been recognized in the 2020 IAM Patent 1000: The World's Leading Patent Professionals. The firm’s entire Atlanta-based patent practice was honored as well.

The world-renowned IAM Patent 1000 list is based on nearly 1,800 interviews with the patent prosecution and trial bar and in-house lawyers discussing the leading players in the field.

The individual attorneys named leading practitioners are, for patent prosecution, Atlanta’s Mitchell A. Katz, Dr. Scott D. Marty, and Brian C. Meadows, and New York’s Dr. Margaret Brivanlou and Dr. Kenneth Sonnenfeld, who also was recognized for his excellence in litigation and transactions. Robert R. Baron, Jr., based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, was honored for his national litigation work.
