Greg Seltzer Named One of Technical.ly Philly’s 100 RealLIST Connectors

Ballard Spahr Partner Gregory L. Seltzer has been recognized by Technical.ly Philly for his dedication to building the city’s local tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation community. He is one of just two attorneys to be included on the publication’s inaugural 100 RealLIST Connectors.

The list was compiled by Technical.ly Philly staffers, who solicited nominations and also drew on their own knowledge of the local tech and entrepreneurship community to make their selections.

Mr. Seltzer, who leads Ballard Spahr's Emerging Growth and Venture Capital Group, represents startup companies, venture capital firms, private-equity funds, and angel investors. He also co-founded and leads Ballard Academy for Student Entrepreneurs, the firm's widely recognized accelerator program for student-run startup companies. He has helped many of the area’s most successful emerging companies to grow and thrive.

Mr. Seltzer also recently helped to establish Ballard Spahr’s Entrepreneur Legal Relief Program (ELRP) to ensure that entrepreneurs have the resources and counsel required to endure the current coronavirus crisis. Through ELRP, firm lawyers provide free and discounted legal services and other business support to entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies.

Mr. Seltzer is also the founder and producer of the nationally recognized Philly Music Fest, an annual four-day nonprofit music and arts festival featuring exclusively Philadelphia-area bands, artists, and breweries. For the last two years, the sold-out festival has included a Tech Tour, which brings panel discussions and performances from local bands to Philadelphia-based startups.
