Yale Law Women Recognizes Ballard Spahr as a Top Firm in its 2020 Gender Equity & Family Friendliness Report

Ballard Spahr has been named a top firm in the categories of Promotion Practices and Parental and Caregiver Leave in Yale Law Women’s 2020 Gender Equity & Family Friendliness Report.
The report is issued annually to raise awareness about inequities, spotlight progress, and identify areas for improvement in the legal profession. This year’s report recognizes firms in individual categories. Ballard Spahr was one of five firms to be honored for its commitment to equity in promotions and leadership and one of just three firms to be recognized for its equitable parental and caregiver leave polices.
Diversity and inclusion are core values at Ballard Spahr. The firm has been honored by publications and community organizations across the country for its efforts to advance women attorneys at the firm and within the legal profession. American Lawyer has recognized Ballard Spahr for its high percentage of female equity partners, and the firm has been ranked among the best U.S. law firms for women by WomenInc., Law360, and Working Mother. For the last nine years, the firm has earned the Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum.
