Force Majeure Discussions Expand as Coronavirus Pandemic Continues

In an interview with the Maryland Daily Record, Eben C. Hansel, a member of Ballard Spahr's Real Estate Department, said pandemics and disease outbreaks are sometimes mentioned specifically in force majeure clauses—and have become more common in the last few years— but are not ubiquitous in contracts.
