Tap on Norcross' Phones Stemmed From Philly Union Probe, Records Show

The Philadelphia Inquirer spoke to Hank Hockeimer, who leads Ballard Spahr’s White Collar Defense/Internal Investigations Group, about the federal investigation into South Jersey power broker George E. Norcross III and whether any wiretaps conducted may have been related to an investigation into Philadelphia labor leader John "Johnny Doc" Dougherty.
"To the extent that that's the case, we certainly weren't aware that his were among the phones being intercepted," said Mr. Hockeimer, who represents Mr. Dougherty.
