State Bar of South Dakota Names Jordan Veurink Young Lawyer of the Year for 2018

Ballard Spahr's Jordan D. Veurink has been named the 2018 South Dakota Young Lawyer of the Year by the State Bar of South Dakota. The prestigious honor recognizes attorneys under age 36 for outstanding service to the legal profession, the state bar, and the community.

Mr. Veurink advises clients in all aspects of estate planning, by developing estate plans that minimize estate tax liability and drafting trusts, wills, and business succession documents to implement such plans. He also represents individuals and corporate fiduciaries in trust administration, probate and guardianship, and conservatorship matters.

In 2018, Mr. Veurink was appointed as a fellow of the American Bar Association's Real Property, Trust and Estate (RPTE) Section. He also has served as a Vice Chair of the ABA Young Lawyers Division RPTE Section.
