Session Description: As electric vehicles become more common on our roads, the infrastructure necessary to support those vehicles has struggled to catch up. Our panelists represent three sectors critical to the future of EV infrastructure: retail fuel distribution, electric power distribution, and government.

1:40 – 2:10 PM ET | Keynote: Peter Knorr, Director of Port Operations, on behalf of New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and the NJ Wind Port Project
Mr. Knorr will provide a comprehensive overview of the New Jersey Wind Port, a development designed, built, and operated exclusively to support offshore wind projects. This critical infrastructure is necessary for a transition to a clean energy economy and, at full buildout, will create thousands of new jobs.

2:20 – 3:20 PM ET | Panel 2: The Rising Demand for Data Centers and the Challenges They Bring
Session Description: As a new wave of data center development takes off, both the public and private sectors reflect on lessons learned and the next steps. Our panelists will discuss trends in data center policy and governmental incentives, project financing, and possible innovations moving forward. These innovations may include colocation with power generation sources and possibly bringing off-line nuclear facilities back online

3:30 – 4:30 PM ET | Panel 3: Inflation Reduction Act and the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund
Session Description: Building on last year’s discussion, this session will feature panelists who have received an allocation from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund or are partnering with/supporting recipients. The panel will explore how these funds are being allocated and what types of projects are in the pipeline. Panelists will discuss the strategies for deploying these funds, addressing the unique challenges in ensuring their impact, and leveraging the opportunities to collaborate. Attendees will gain insights into how green banks and partners are working to overcome barriers and accelerate the implementation of emissions reduction and resilience projects, particularly in low-income and disadvantaged communities. This session will also cover the lessons learned so far and what lies ahead for stakeholders in the green financing landscape.
