Competing Obligations for Lawyers as Gatekeepers - ACC of Greater Philadelphia

As part of the Association of Corporate Counsel of Greater Philadelphia's in-person Ethics & Compliance CLE Institute, Ballard Spahr Partners John Grugan and Kahlil Williams, along with Brooke Zane, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at Comcast Cable, will lead a session titled "Gates & Ladders: Competing Obligations for Lawyers as Gatekeepers."

According to ACC, this panel will explore how lawyers must navigate their duties to report potential wrongdoing “up-the-ladder” with their obligations to maintain confidentiality, all while confronting increased pressure from regulators, courts, and other observers to increase liability for gatekeeper failures.
