Criminal Antitrust Prosecutions: Who Brings Them, How To Avoid Them, and How to Deal With Them
Share
The DOJ’s Antitrust Division is focused on investigations and prosecutions of alleged anti-competitive conduct. Join Ballard Spahr lawyers in a discussion of that Division and the types of cases and industries it has traditionally zeroed in on. We will also examine significant recent matters and policy changes of the Division, including in response to COVID-19, and take a look at the impact the current administration is having on criminal antitrust prosecutions. The discussion will also include a review of recent matters that have highlighted the distinction between a per se violation of the antitrust law and a violation based on the Rule of Reason.
