Litigation Partner Peter Hardy will participate in a panel discussion of why commerce in fine art and antiquities is attracting the attention of money launderers, and what legal and regulatory tools currently exist to counter it.
Panelists will address whether new federal legislation may be needed to combat money laundering in the art world, and if so, with what scope and properties (as it relates primarily to impending changes in the EU).
