Sara Shahbazi is a Los Angeles bankruptcy and restructuring attorney. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Sara was a law clerk in Los Angeles Superior Court, where she analyzed law and motion, presented tentative rulings and bench memoranda, and advised her judicial officer on issues. Sara also has experience as a law clerk in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
While attending law school, Sara worked as a law clerk in the Law Office of Thomas H. Casey and in the Office of the Maryland State Prosecutor. She also was a staff assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she analyzed legislative proposals and prepared proposal summaries, talking points, and memoranda for committee and subcommittee hearings.
