George M. Riter, Jr., has experience assisting clients with their estate plans. He is an associate in the firm’s Private Client Services Group.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, he was a lawyer at a Philadelphia law firm. His responsibilities included drafting estate planning documents and supporting trust and estate administration; evaluating client tax issues and researching state and IRS guidance; counseling clients in the formation and operation of nonprofits; and identifying potential planning opportunities for clients.
In law school, George served as an appellate judicial intern to the Honorable H. Geoffrey Moulton, Jr., at the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. He also was a legal extern at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
