Peter Hamberger's practice focuses on real estate financing and restructuring, both nationally and regionally, and includes construction lending, multifamily housing transactions and portfolio loans financed conventionally, through agency loans, and bridge loans via warehouse lenders. In the western market, Peter works extensively on lease negotiations representing landlords for commercial tenants, and also represents clients with respect to land development plans, real estate construction and development contract negotiations, and extensive title and survey review.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Peter provided budgetary analysis for the Massachusetts State Senate Committee on Ways and Means. He also held internships with the National Consumers League, a social and economic justice advocacy organization, and the National Juvenile Justice Prosecution Center, which assists and trains juvenile court prosecutors.
