Ballard Spahr Advises Aristotle Capital Management on Acquisition of Pacific Asset Management

Investment management organization Aristotle Capital Management, LLC (Aristotle), will acquire third-party credit asset management firm Pacific Asset Management, LLC (PAM), from leading mutual life insurance company Pacific Life Insurance Company (Pacific Life), the companies announced. Ballard Spahr is advising Aristotle on the transaction, expected to close during the first half of 2023.

As part of the transaction, Pacific Life will receive a minority interest in Aristotle. Subsequent to the close of the transaction, Pacific Asset Management, whose clients include Pacific Funds, will be known as Aristotle Pacific Capital, LLC (Aristotle Pacific), Aristotle announced.
