Samuel Erlanger is a New York Intellectual Property associate who focuses his practice on IP litigation matters. Sam’s experience covers all aspects of patent litigation before several federal district courts and the International Trade Commission, including pre-suit infringement investigations, motion practice, discovery, Markman proceedings, depositions, and expert reports. He has worked on cutting-edge technology in computer hardware and software, automotive systems, Fintech applications, audio and video processing, semiconductors, and consumer electronics.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Sam worked at an IP litigation boutique law firm where he engaged in technical patent litigation disputes and strategies. Before attending law school, Sam worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he supported software and hardware development in ATM and debit card technologies.
