Anne Bensard is an associate in Ballard Spahr's Public Finance Department. Anne has experience serving as bond, disclosure, and underwriter's counsel, assisting with over $350 million in tax-exempt financings for special districts and other Colorado local governments in 2017. She regularly drafts bond documents, including authorizing resolutions, indentures of trust, lease purchase agreements, loan agreements, pledge agreements, and ancillary documents.

During law school, Anne was a research assistant at the Natural Resources Law Center at the University of Colorado Law School and a law clerk for Denver Water. Anne has also worked at the Colorado State Capitol as a legislative aide, where she assisted with agriculture, oil and gas, and water-related legislation.
