Ballard Spahr Partner Leslie E. John has been selected for the 2017 edition of "Top 250 Women in Litigation," published by Benchmark Litigation, a legal guide that evaluates leading law firms and attorneys based on peer and client interviews.

Ms. John, who is Practice Leader of Ballard Spahr's Antitrust Group, has been included in the guide every year since 2012. Benchmark Litigation selects honorees based on in-depth research of attorneys' professional activities as well as feedback from their clients and colleagues.

In her antitrust practice, Ms. John represents clients—including pharmaceutical and health care companies—in federal and state courts and before the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. She also has experience litigating class actions and complex commercial cases. Ms. John has been honored by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business each of the past three years for her skill in antitrust law, and last year, The Legal Intelligencer named her one of the "Top Women in Law."

Ms. John is General Counsel to WOMEN'S WAY—the nation's oldest women's funding federation—as well as Vice President of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, Vice President of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group, and a member of Ballard Spahr's Diversity and Inclusion Council.
