Ballard Spahr and CSG Advisors are pleased to announce our seventh annual Western Housing Conference focusing on affordable housing issues.

Leading affordable housing professionals will present an informative and lively discussion, providing perspectives on recent developments in the affordable housing industry. Our panel discussions will include the following topics:

  • Washington Update: This panel will provide an overview of the atmosphere in Washington relating to affordable housing, including a deep dive into legislative and executive actions which could impact the Low Income Housing Tax Credit and funding of HUD programs.
  • Totally RAD from Coast to Coast: RAD is a flexible tool that supports various models and financing tools for stabilizing and developing affordable housing. We will explore how agencies in different parts of the country are deploying RAD and addressing unique structuring considerations while benefiting from HUD tips and guidance on processing and closing deals in our current environment.
  • Changing Communities through Collaboration: This panel will provide a well-rounded view on community planning. Our panelists will also discuss why community planning is important, how activities are funded, as well as the impact community planning has on tenants and how it affects the bottom line.
  • The Changing Market in Affordable Housing Finance: Leading financiers from both the debt and equity side of the transaction as well as representatives from the GSEs will discuss the ever changing market for financing affordable housing. They will look at the market from a few years ago compared to today's environment and discuss their thoughts for what we might expect in the future.
