Carolyn A. Pellegrini is an associate in the Labor and Employment Group. Ms. Pellegrini represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. She is also a member of the Higher Education Group and advises educational institutions on complying with Title IX, OCR guidance, and the Clery Act, as well as other requirements.

Ms. Pellegrini has experience:

  • Conducting workplace and Title IX investigations including allegations of discrimination, harassment, and hazing
  • Auditing Title IX compliance, providing recommendations to ensure compliance, and conducting training for educational institutions
  • Responding to discrimination and harassment claims at the agency level by conducting witness interviews, drafting position statements, and participating in mediation
  • Participating in all aspects of discovery, pre-trial, and trial procedures
  • Counseling clients on a variety of issues relating to employee handbooks, leave policies, employee discipline, workplace investigations, and reasonable accommodations
