Kaleena Laputka is a corporate and transactional attorney who advises both publicly- and privately-held companies in corporate and commercial transactions and securities matters. In particular, Kaleena represents companies in various industries with capital-raising transactions, including private and public offerings, as well as M&A transactions, including public and private mergers, stock acquisitions and divestitures, and asset purchases and sales. She also regularly advises companies on corporate governance, securities compliance, SEC disclosure and reporting, and general corporate matters.

Before joining Ballard Spahr, Kaleena was a Senior Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton.

Pro Bono Experience

Kaleena maintains an active pro bono practice. She routinely assists and advises entrepreneurs, small companies and nonprofits on corporate governance matters and corporate transactions, including formation, mergers, and dissolution. Most recently, Kaleena counseled a startup company with regards to entity formation and business structuring and raising capital.
