Christopher Corsi represents parties involved in commercial and other disputes before state and federal courts. He assists banks and other lenders in defending claims arising from commercial and residential mortgage lending, and also represents banks, lenders, brokers, and servicers in defending against claims involving federal and state lending statutes.
As a commercial litigator, Mr. Corsi has experience handling disputes involving contractual breaches, unfair competition, and general commercial issues; premises liability; product liability; defamation; negligence; consumer fraud litigation; and franchise disputes.
In the franchise litigation area, Mr. Corsi's experience includes franchise fee nonpayment, performance, termination, and sales practice disputes.
Before joining Ballard Spahr, Mr. Corsi was an information technology manager and a legal extern for the LANXESS Corporation. As a legal extern, he reviewed and prepared commercial contracts, researched legal issues, provided legal solutions relating to deals, and initiated a comprehensive e-discovery plan. Mr. Corsi also worked for Bayer AG as a facility network administrator/infrastructure analyst and Sybron Chemicals Incorporated as a systems administrator/programmer.
Mr. Corsi is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a secure communications specialist ("Crypto").
